Nothing has topped it! Beyoncé has sold out arenas, earned millions, won Grammys and performed at the Super Bowl (twice) — but nothing compares to the day she became a mom. The global superstar gushed about her daughter, Blue Ivy, 4, in a new interview with Garage magazine
“Out of everything I’ve accomplished, my proudest moment, hands-down, was when I gave birth to my daughter, Blue,” Beyonce, 34, said.
Four years after tying the knot, Beyoncé and Jay Z, 46, welcomed their baby girl in January 2012. The singer credits her mother, Tina Knowles, for showing her the ropes about parenthood.

“My biggest hero is and always will be my mother. She has taught me about caring for others, working hard and working smart,” she told the mag. “Everything I know about being a mother comes from the examples she has shown. My mother has instilled confidence in my sister and me and taught us to always be grateful.”
Beyoncé is also thankful that she has control over her career. Most recently, Queen Bey dropped the politically potent song and video “Formation,” and rocked the Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show with headliner Coldplay and fellow guest Bruno Mars.
“Over time, I have learned to focus on the things I want to focus on in the time frame that I set,” she said. “I no longer have to work based on someone else’s expectations or pressure. I put enough pressure on myself! I love being 100% involved with all my projects, and now I’m fortunate enough to do that.”
