Britney Spears is showering both of her sons with love as they celebrate their birthdays two days apart.
“Happy early B-day to u as well,” the “Toxic” singer, 44, wrote via Instagram in a tribute to son Sean Preston hours after she posted a tribute to her younger son Jayden James, who turned 19 on Saturday, September 12. (Preston turns 20 on Monday, September 14.)
Spears wrote to Preston, “Please stop working out so much because your muscles r starting to scare me …. JK! Well 🤦♀️🤔 I’m so proud of the young man you have become.”
Sharing a throwback photo of her sons in a golf cart, Spears added, “P.S. This was in London, strolling in the park …. Preston absolutely loved London!!!”
Spears shared two additional photos of Preston on Sunday, September 13, and captioned the posts, “Happy b day baby!”
Spears, who shares Preston and Jayden with ex Kevin Federline, previously took to Instagram on Saturday to celebrate her younger son turning 19 by sharing her candid hopes for herself as a parent.
“Happy birthday to my handsome young boy oh dear lord we have this beautiful thing called life in front of us, it’s such a beautiful delicate thing,” she wrote alongside photos of Jayden. “I hope I can be the best mommy in the world every day of ur life!!!!”
Though Spears was estranged from her boys for years, the trio recently mended their respective relationships.
“Her boys are going to be spending time with her,” Spears’ rep told Us in March after the singer was arrested for a suspected DUI. “Her loved ones are going to come up with an overdue, needed plan to set her up for success for well-being.” (Spears pleaded guilty to a lesser misdemeanor charge of “wet reckless” driving, and her DUI charge was dismissed. She received 12 months of probation without serving jail time.)
Weeks later, a source told Us that Spears had voluntarily admitted herself to a treatment facility “after several conversations” with her sons, who had “expressed concern about her recent behavior and urged her to seek professional help.”
In June, both Jayden and Preston made their runway debut at Paris Fashion Week, later dishing on how their mom supported their new venture.
“She wasn’t there with us, but she sent us flowers to our hotel as a good luck thing, and called and texted us so many times,” Jayden told Vogue on July 2. “It was good to have that and to carry that with us before we went out there.”
Later that month, Jayden jumped to Spears’ defense after fans claimed the pop star was dead and had been cloned.
“I hop on TikTok and I see this one video that has 1.2 million likes, and the caption is like, ‘The biggest theory ever: Is Britney Spears still alive?’” he said in a livestream. “Like, bro, you can go to her page and see her right now.”
Jayden continued, “It makes me know that a lot of the stuff on media is exaggerated and fake. People know how gullible people are, and they use that to their advantage. Anyone that sees it on media, they just see it and if it has a lot of likes, they [believe] it. They don’t even research it, they’re just, ‘Wow, yeah, it’s crazy. I believe it.’
