Candice King and her husband, Steven Kreuger, are officially the proud parents of a baby boy.
“Welcome to the world our sweet boy,” King, 39, wrote via Instagram on Thursday, May 14, revealing she gave birth to son Arlo Dominic weeks earlier on May 3. “We are so in love.”
Nearly three months earlier, King and Krueger tied the knot in February, according to Vogue.
Candice previously welcomed daughters Florence and Josephine with ex-husband Joe King in January 2016 and December 2020, respectively.
Following her 2022 split from Joe, 45, after seven years of marriage, Candice went public with her relationship with Krueger, 36, in December 2023. She later announced their engagement in May 2025.
That December, Candice revealed that she and Krueger were expecting their first baby together.
“My fiancé and I are so excited. It’s such a joy,” she exclusively told Us Weekly at the time. “It’s something that we’re not only excited about right now. This is something we’ve been daydreaming about, so it’s lovely to be here right now celebrating it.”
Then nearly at the “halfway” point of her pregnancy, Candice noted that “the most important thing” for herself and Krueger was “a happy, healthy mama and baby,” adding, “At each little milestone and appointment, that’s been a big celebration.”
As Candice entered a new chapter with Krueger, she felt they were well prepared for the next step in their journey.
“I love being a mother, it’s my favorite role,” she gushed. “There’s so many things that Steven does as a partner and as [my daughters’] stepfather on a daily basis that he already shows me how wonderful of a father he is and will be.”
Candice’s daughters were just as eager to meet the family’s newest addition.
“When we told the children together that we were having a baby, my 5-year-old said, ‘It’s my kid.’ She’s had an obsession with babies since she was a baby. Some kids throw temper tantrums in restaurants for a variety of reasons and her reason would usually be because she wanted to go hang out with the baby a few tables over,” she told Us. “They’re so excited, and it’s been obviously something really beautiful for us all to enjoy together in this process. … There’s been a lot of laughs thus far — and I imagine there will be more to come.”
As Candice and Krueger counted down the days until their son’s arrival, the engaged couple remained patient for their eventual walk down the aisle.
“[Wedding planning is] going well when you don’t overplan, which is really hard for me. I am very type A personality, but it has been actually nice to be able to not overplan,” she hinted. “We’re definitely planning something special, and right now the most important thing is [my health].”
Amid the growth of their family and work commitments, Candice teased that she and Krueger had “our own little daydreams and ideas” about their wedding day. Once the timing was right, she concluded, “We’re so excited obviously to celebrate with our friends and family and to be married.”
