Charlize Theron: Baby Jackson Is “Doing Great”

Jackson Theron is not ready for his public debut just yet — but his famous mother Charlize Theron gave an update on her newly adopted son at Saturday's Human Rights Campaign gala in L.A.

"He's doing great," the Snow White and the Huntsman actress, 36, told E! News. "It's very hard for me to leave the house now so you know how important this is because I was like standing at the door going, 'Ah, this is so hard!'"

The single actress announced her surprise adoption last week; a source close to the Oscar winner tells Us little Jackson is African-American, and was adopted stateside.

But don't think Theron's brand-new role as a mom has tamped down her saucy side. At the gala, she talked about her Prometheus costar Michael Fassbender — in particular, a part of his anatomy put on full display in the gritty 2011 drama Shame.

"Your penis was a revelation," she said at the podium. "I'm available to work with it any time."

She explained of Fassbender's full-frontal scenes: "I have to say that I was truly impressed that you chose to play it big. Most other actors would have gone small, trust me. No, I know because I've worked with them."
