No jealousy issues here! Chrissy Teigen shared a photo of her daughter, Luna, doting on her 11-day-old baby brother on Tuesday, May 29.
In the picture, Luna, 2, gently offered Miles a green pacifier as he dozed in a Monte bassinet. The proud mom captioned the post with a red heart.
Teigen first introduced Miles to her more than 17 million Instagram followers on May 20, five days after the baby was born. “Hello, world! This is Miles Theodore Stephens — We are drowning little peeps and nuzzles,” wrote the 32-year-old. “Our households feels overwhelmed with love.” In the image, the newborn snoozed with one hand on his chin. (Newborns sleep 16 to 17 hours per day, according to HealthyChildren.org!)
Proud dad, John Legend, revealed that Miles was named after jazz trumpeter Miles Davis, who passed away in 1991. Luna’s moniker was inspired by late civil rights activist and musician Nina Simone.
“Every name we give to our kids I think we have a little bit of musical history to it,” the Grammy winner, 39, told E! News on May 20. He noted that Teigen, his wife of four years, fell in love with the name Theodore. “We put it all together and got Miles Theodore Stephens. When he came out and we hung out with him for a little, we were like, ‘He looks like a Miles.’”
“We’re so excited to have him the family now,” gushed Legend. “Chrissy’s excited, Luna’s excited. I’m excited. It’s nice to have a little family of four now.”
But it’s sometimes also nice to be just two! Teigen and Legend slipped out for a kid-free dinner on Saturday, May 28. The R&B singer Instagrammed a snap of him and the Cravings cookbook author seated at a booth and smiling. “First post-Miles date night!” wrote Legend. Later, Teigen joked about her engorged breasts in the comments section. “Pumpin tiiiime.”
The couple will likely have one more child. Back in March, Teigen told Us Weekly she will be in no rush to get pre-baby body back. “I do want to have another after this,” she told Us. “And then get hot!”
