Danny Go! star Daniel Coleman is mourning the death of his 14-year-old son, Isaac, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

“Oh, my sweet boy. There’s so much I want to say, but I don’t know how yet,” Coleman, 41, wrote via Instagram on Friday, May 22, one day after Isaac’s death. “I already miss you so much, and the pain in my heart is far more than I can process.”

He continued, “Looking through thousands of pictures and videos this past week, I’m also filled with tremendous pride. Your 14 years were full of so many challenges, but you met them all with such grit … and you somehow kept your trademark joy in spite of it all. You truly had a spark like no other, Isaac!”

Daniel, who shared Isaac with wife Mindy Coleman, further explained that “remembering how loved” his son was is giving him “great comfort.”

“Being your dad was the honor of a lifetime,” he concluded. “I’m so proud of you and I love you forever. Rest peacefully, son.”

Isaac was diagnosed with stage III mouth cancer in late 2025. He began hospice care in April.

“Haven’t updated on Isaac’s cancer in a bit and it’s still difficult for me to process and talk about,” Daniel wrote via Instagram last month. “But the high-level update is that his cancer has continued to spread aggressively and his energy levels have dropped very low. We’re in the midst of a short palliative radiation round right now to slow down the growth of a large mass under his right eye, but we’ve shifted into a comfort-focused approach with him overall.”

At the time, Daniel revealed that Isaac had a hospice team to help “manage the pain.”

“We are just doing our best to make each day as enjoyable and restful as possible for him,” the YouTube star added. “Mindy and I are heartbroken watching him decline, knowing how frustrating and scary this must be for him. But we’re trying to hold it all together & keep soaking up the time we still have with our boy.”

Daniel and Mindy, who also share 10-year-old son Levi, confirmed Isaac’s diagnosis late last year.

“We found out last week that Isaac has cancer in his mouth. TBH, we always knew this day was coming, as it’s a near certainty w/ Fanconi anemia,” Daniel wrote in December 2025, referring to his son’s genetic disorder. “It’s definitely hitting a little earlier than we hoped and is still just such a shocking thing to hear about your child, even if you’ve braced for it for years.”
