Former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Kelcey Wetterberg is starting a new chapter after welcoming her first baby with husband Nate Crnkovich.
“Our boy is here 💙 Jack Lawrence Crnkovich 7/16/26 11:16 AM 9 lbs 20.5 in,” read a joint Instagram post from the couple on Monday, July 20.
The pair gushed over experiencing early parenthood, adding, “We’ve had a few days of just us, soaking in the newborn bubble … & we have truly never felt a love like this. Thanking God every day for this little blessing of ours 🥹🤍.”
Alongside their sweet caption, Kelcey and Nate shared a glimpse of their baby boy wearing all blue, as well as photos from the delivery room.
Kelcey’s former teammates celebrated the new addition in the comments section.
“KELC!!!!😭💙 Jack is PERFECT!!!!! Aww so so so happy for you guys!!!! He is such an angel,” Charly Barby wrote.
Reece Weaver added, “BABY JACK YOU ARE SO LOVED!!!!!!! Congratulations rockstar parents!!!!!🥹🩵.”
Fans met Kelcey during season 1 of Netflix’s America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, which premiered in 2024, showcasing the auditions and training camp process from the year before. Though she was a breakout star of the show’s first season, Kelcey opted not to return to the squad at the end of season 1. (The hit series returned with its third season earlier this year.)
Kelcey and Nate tied the knot in December 2024, announcing shortly after their first wedding anniversary that they were expecting their first baby.
Since retiring from the DCC world, Kelcey has given fans glimpses of her life off the field from pre-baby date nights to recovery from a recent ankle surgery. She’s also stayed close to the Dallas Cowboys organization, previously teaching prep classes for the next generation of hopeful cheerleaders.
“Had the BEST TIME!” she captioned a TikTok in April 2025. “So inspiring to be in this room with so many driven women going after their dreams 💙.”
One month before Kelcey and Nate officially become parents, the dancer gave her husband an early Father’s Day shout-out.
“Happy Father’s Day to our hero 🤍 already the best dog dad in the world & I know you’re going to be the best dad to our boy SO SOON!” she gushed via Instagram. “You are the most selfless, caring, kind, and hard working man & your family could not love you more. Last few slides are my favorite 👀🪿😂.”
