Look at these two! Eddie Murphy and his pregnant girlfriend, Paige Butcher, made a rare appearance as they stepped out in Studio City, California, on Thursday, March 24.
The couple held hands as they grabbed beverages at a local Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. The first-time mom-to-be, 36, wore a form-fitted navy dress while the Mr. Church actor, 54, wore a blank tank top and dark jeans.
Us Weekly confirmed in November that Murphy and Butcher were expecting their first child together.
Their newborn, due in May, will have plenty of playmates. The legendary comedian already has eight other children. He's dad to Eric, 26, with ex Paulette McNeely; Christian, 25, with ex Tamara Hood; and Angel, 8, with Spice Girl Melanie "Mel B" Brown. Murphy and Brown battled over their daughter's paternity in 2007.
Murphy also shares Bria, 26, Myles, 23, Shayne, 21, Zola, 16, and Bella, 14, with his ex-wife, Nicole Mitchell. The pair split in 2006 after 13 years of marriage.
Murphy has lain relatively low since his heyday in the '80s and '90s, occasionally turning out blockbusters such as the Shrek and the Nutty Professor franchises. He'll soon play the late Richard Pryor in the drama Richard Pryor: Is It Something I Said? and reprise his role as Axel Foley in Beverly Hills Cop 4.
