Baby on board! Elizabeth Smart and her husband, Matthew Gilmour, are expecting their third child.
Smart, 30, took to Instagram on Tuesday, June 26, to make the exciting announcement. “Pretty HUGE news!!!!!!” she captioned a photo of an ultrasound. “We’re expecting baby #3 in November!!!!”
The news comes just one year after the My Story author welcomed son James, 14 months. She and Gilmour are also parents to daughter Chloe, 2.
Smart frequently shares photos of her little ones via social media. Most recently, she posted pictures of her family of four vacationing in Wyoming. “Another leg of our adventure, breakfast cruise out to elk island from Colter Bay in #grandtetonnational park,” she captioned a snapshot of the brood earlier this month. “It has been so fun, but seriously exhausting! #familytime #camping #greatoutdoors.”
The child safety activist also shared a heartfelt picture of her clan at the beach back in May and opened up about the importance of finding “balance” in her life.
“I find my balance when I’m ale to spend time with my family, when I listen to my little Chloe’s biggest concern is when we can’t find her other ‘pony shoe,’” she wrote. “Going for runs with my 3 dogs, nothing quite as heating and refreshing as a morning run.”
Smart captured the world’s attention in 2002 when she was abducted from her family’s home in Salt Lake City, Utah, at 14. She was rescued by police the following year and since then has lived a quiet life out of the spotlight with her family.
