Well, this takes the saving-your-kids'-first-locks-of-hair tradition to a whole new level! Heidi Klum, speaking to website YourTango at the Shutterfly by Design home décor event on June 19 in NYC, shared an intriguing art project she does with her kids that involves paint, glue — and their hair!
"So two of my boys, they have big afros, and when I shaved them all down, I kept all the hair and I put it in a Ziploc bag," she said of Henry, 7, and Johan, 6, her sons with ex Seal. "I keep everything! But then, I waited and I'm like, 'I don't know what I'm gonna do with this.' It was so beautiful, this whole bag of afro: one for Henry, one for Johan. The next time they painted their faces, I glued all their hair around it, so it was like this three-dimensional painting. It's their face!"
Fortunately, the America's Got Talent judge has no problem remembering whose hair belongs to which kid. "Henry was always a bit more blonde, like the tips are really blonde, and Johan's more dark. So you can see, this one looks like Henry and this one looks like Johan. It's so pretty," she gushed.
The unflappable 40-year-old stunner, who is also mom to two girls, Leni, 9, and Lou, 3, made headlines in March when she saved Henry and two nannies from a dangerous riptide in Oahu, Hawaii — all while looking incredible in a string bikini.
