Hoda Kotb celebrated her first Easter with her new daughter, Hope, and shared a sweet family photo on Sunday, April 21.
“This is us xo,” the Today host, 54, captioned a happy Instagram photo that showed her and eldest daughter Haley Joy, 2, along with boyfriend Joel Schiffman, 61, who was feeding Hope a bottle.
She also shared a second pic that showed her mother, Sami, with her new granddaughter, writing, “This makes me so happy… my mom filled with Hope.”
Kotb revealed on Tuesday, April 16, that she had adopted her second child, calling into the NBC morning show to share her exciting news.
“She is laying on the pillow right now. I’m feeding her,” she told her cohosts. “I can’t believe it. Like, I’m sitting here and, you know, you think that maybe you have gotten what you deserve, but man, I’m so happy she is here.”
The anchor, who adopted Haley in 2017, said her eldest girl was “digging” the new arrival.
“At breakfast she was trying to feed her raspberries,” she said. “I was like, ‘Not yet, babe.’ She was literally marching around saying, ‘I’m a big sister.’ … She did try to crawl into her bassinet.”
Little Hope has had plenty of visitors since her arrival, with Kotb’s fellow Today hosts Al Roker, Savannah Guthrie and Jenna Bush Heger dropping by.
Today meteorologist Dylan Dreyer also brought her son Calvin, 2, over for a playdate with Haley and shared a photo showing the kids playing while she cradled and fed Hope.
“Don’t wake a sleeping baby! But if you do, it’s not a problem if it’s the sweetest baby ever!!” she captioned a photo showing her, Calvin and Haley making a shushing motion. “What a special play date for Calvin and me with Hoda, Haley, and Hope #somuchjoy.”
