UPDATE 11/28/2025 3:13 p.m. ET — Teen Mom star Mackenzie Douthit sent her condolences to Tineke “Tini” Younger after the influencer announced the loss of one of her twin baby girls.
“My heart is completely shattered for you!” Douthit, 31, wrote in a comment on Tini’s announcement via Instagram on Wednesday, November 26. “I wish so badly doctors would stop forcing twin moms to try and carry so long.”
Douthit then shared the complications she experienced during the birth of her and fiancé Khesanio Hall‘s twin daughters, Ja’Kharie and Ja’Meikah, in June.
“Both of my placentas abrupted, I knew they did, and my doctor refused to listen and take the babies,” she explained. “I had to go to another hospital and let doctors I never met take the twins at 31 weeks. No one ever talks about this. You are so so deep in my prayers.”
Douthit, who also shares three children with ex-husband Josh McKee, documented her hospital stays during the final few weeks of her pregnancy via Instagram and Snapchat.

Tineke “Tini” Younger has announced the loss of one of her twin baby girls.
“This isn’t the post I ever thought I would share once the twins came, unfortunately earlier this week we lost our sweet girl Arya (Baby A),” the chef and social-media influencer, 24, wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, November 26.
“We made it to almost 36 weeks we were so close to being done and getting the girls to term but I had a placenta abruption and we lost our sweet girl,” she continued. “Her twin sister is doing really good and breathing on her own. They both are so beautiful and Arya will always be celebrated, her sister will know she is a twin and has a beautiful twin sister.”
Along with her caption, Younger posted a heartbreaking black-and-white photo of her and husband Antoine Wright Jr. holding baby Arya.
“I will be taking a break, not sure for how long but I promise I will be back,” she told her followers. “I love you guys ❤️.”
According to Mayo Clinic, placental abruption “is an uncommon yet serious complication of pregnancy.” It occurs “when the placenta partly or completely separates from the inner wall of the uterus before delivery. This can decrease or block the baby’s supply of oxygen and nutrients and cause heavy bleeding in the mother.”
Younger revealed in June that she and Wright Jr. were expecting twins. As her pregnancy bump grew, she shared new recipes from her cozy home kitchen, donated to a holiday food drive and celebrated her wedding anniversary.
“1 year married, 6 years together🤍 Happy anniversary to my best friend,” she wrote in an Instagram post on November 12, tagging Wright Jr.
In an October interview with People, Younger discussed creating culinary content, which includes her viral mac and cheese recipe, while pregnant.
“I’ve been getting asked, ‘Oh, how are you still able to cook? I would be nauseous,’” the host of YouTube’s “From Scratch With Tini” told the outlet.
“Honestly, nothing’s really changed,” she said at the time. “It’s been more of what I want to eat, more than what I can tolerate. It’s just more of, I just want to eat more sweet foods than savory food.”
She called her babies “perfect” and said she had a strategy for preparing Thanksgiving dinner ahead of their arrival.
“I’m just going to bring a chair with me,” Younger said. “I already have a little kitchen stool, but [Thanksgiving] is my thing, especially around the holidays for content, everyone comes to my page for recipes. I’m going to push through, just sit on my chair because that’s my main thing.”
