Jaime Pressly welcomed twins just seven weeks ago — which means she had the perfect excuse to stay home in her sweats and a ratty T-shirt on Tuesday, December 5. Instead the Mom actress, who is no doubt insanely sleep-deprived, dazzled on the red carpet at the L.A. premiere of I, Tonya.
For her first appearance since giving birth, the 40-year-old actress selected a long-sleeved black turtleneck sweater and sparkly a knee-length skirt with a sexy slit.
Pressly and her longtime boyfriend, Hamzi Hijazi, welcomed boys Leo and Lenon in October. She is also mom of 10-year-old son Dezi with ex-fiance Eric Calvo.
Pressly, who struggled to conceive and was considering IVF, told Us Weekly in July that she was “pleasantly shocked” when she learned she was expecting multiples. “It’s like God cut me some slack and was like, ‘I’m going to give you two in one so you don’t have to do it again!’”
At the time, Pressly was confident that she was looking forward to watching the boys become friends. “Some people will disagree,” she told Us, “but it’s more difficult to entertain an only child. Twins have a built-in buddy.” She added that Dezi couldn’t wait to meet his siblings. “He is so excited!” she exclaimed. “Every day he squeezes my belly and goes, ‘When they get here, I’m gonna eat ‘em up!’ He’s going to be a great big brother.”
And Pressly couldn’t wait to see Hijazi in action with the babies. “Hamazi is going to be a great dad,” she gushed. “He’s been around handling all the kid stuff for almost seven years now!”
