Jenelle Evans Says MTV Wants to Make Her Look Like the ‘Most Horrible Mother Ever’

The teen mama drama never stops! Jenelle Evans took to Twitter on Tuesday, May 31, to blast MTV for only showing the negative parts of her life on Teen Mom 2.

The 24-year-old mom of two feels that the network is making a conscious effort to portray her as a bad parent. “I’m pretty convinced @MTV constantly wants to make me look like the most horrible mother ever,” the North Carolina resident lamented. “Doesn’t show a damn positive thing for my story.”

As fans will recall, Evans’ volatile past — including drug addiction, unhealthy relationships and multiple arrests — has been documented by MTV since Teen Mom 2 premiered in 2011. More recently, though, the now-sober reality personality has been focused on raising her 23-month-old son, Kaiser (who she shares with ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith), and regaining custody of her elder son, Jace, 6, from her mother, Barbara.

While the 16 & Pregnant alum feels she has turned her life around, she believes that MTV is choosing not to highlight her improvement to viewers.

“And this season and this upcoming ones were suppose to be really nice and smooth towards the end but of course if @MTV hires a director that judges you, hates you, and wants to make you look out to be bad… They will do it,” she continued on social media. “They hold all power in the edit room.”

“You would think they would have shown by now how I’ve been trying to get Jace back for over a year, or how many great times we’ve had,” she added.

In her tirade against MTV, Evans hinted that she might leave Teen Mom 2 in favor of a self-funded project. “I should start my own show where you guys see no negativity but just positive vibes,” she wrote. “#NextProject #YouTubeSeries #GoPro.”

This is the second time this year that Evans has taken issue with MTV’s editing of her hit reality series. Back in March, she criticized the show’s producers for allegedly forcing her to record a deceptive voice-over, which insinuated that she purposely disallowed her former beau Griffith from seeing their child.

“I don’t understand why #MTV had me do a voice over saying I haven’t let Nathan see Kai but then shows me calling him to see Kai? #TeenMom2,” Evans vented to her 1.21 million followers at the time.

Teen Mom 2 airs on MTV Mondays at 10 p.m. ET.
