With fellow pregnant star Kim Kardashian facing criticism for her weight gain and maternity style, actress Jenna Dewan-Tatum tweeted a special note on Monday, April 1 coming to the defense of all pregnant women.
"Let's all be kind to every woman out there who is expecting," Dewan-Tatum, 32, who is carrying her first child with husband Channing Tatum, wrote. "It shouldn't be about how much weight someone has gained, their fashion etc . . . it's a beautiful amazing moment in time and not about vanity."
That being said, the mom-to-be also gave a special shout-out to her fans for being so supportive of her. "And I also wanna thank every one of you for being so loving every day with your tweets and messages," she added. "The love is felt! Thank you."
Since announcing she and her husband of four years are expecting, Dewan-Tatum has been embracing her first pregnancy — including wearing maternity clothes. "I just might forever wear my maternity jeans," she tweeted March 7. "These things are so comfortable! Thank you J Brand, Paige Denim and Citizens of Humanity."
No matter how she dresses her bump, Tatum told E! News that he thinks his wife's pregnancy is "one of the sexiest things ever!"
