A girl? A boy? One of each?!
Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald looked super excited in a newly released video on Tuesday, April 21, as they announced their pregnancy in person and discussed the sex of their forthcoming baby (or babies — it’s hard to tell!).
While Duggar, 22, says she has a hunch her bump will turn out to be a boy, husband Seewald, 19, evidently has a nagging suspicion that their firstborn will actually be twins (Jessa’s parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have two sets of twins so multiples do run in the family)!
In the cute video, the duo are seen making a nutritious smoothie which they use as a way to announce that their family is ready to expand.
“You know, pretty soon we’ll be making another little smoothie,” Duggar says to her husband, who picks up a tiny baby bottle.
“Yep, maybe more than one!” he jokes, while Duggar giggles. “You never know,” she replies.
“We are so excited to announce that we are expecting a baby,” the mom-to-be then says to the camera.
“Can’t wait to find out if it’s a boy or a girl,” Seewald adds. “It could be both, who knows?” which causes Duggar to giggle.
“I kind of think it’s a boy,” the pregnant reality star replies to her husband. “Well, we’re twelve weeks along so far and the pregnancy’s going great, I’m feeling good, looking forward to the second trimester, I hear now the morning sickness and all that….things are going great.”
