It’s a girl! Jessica Capshaw and her husband, Christopher Gavigan, have welcomed their fourth child together, the actress announced via Instagram on Monday, May 9.
The Grey’s Anatomy star gave birth to her daughter, named Josephine Kate Gavigan, on Monday, May 2.
"I am endlessly grateful for her safe arrival and my heart is so full of love that it threatens to burst…," she captioned the photo of her adorable newborn.
As previously reported, the couple announced that they were expecting in December 2015 with a sweet family photo on Instagram.
"The holidays have certainly arrived…All of our lives are being added to by the lights, music and the cheer!!" Capshaw, 39, captioned the post. "This year our family has reason to further broaden our smile…baby number four is on the way!! I am a lucky, lucky girl."
The pair, who tied the knot in May 2004 in East Hampton, New York, are already parents of Luke, 8, Eve, 5, and Poppy, 3.
The actress is best known for playing Dr. Arizona Robbins on Grey's Anatomy. She is the stepdaughter of director Steven Spielberg, and the daughter of actress Kate Capshaw.
Gavigan cofounded the Honest Company, a consumer goods business that sells all-natural products, with Jessica Alba in 2011.
