Almost time! Jill Duggar is so excited to meet her little boy that she’s literally counting down the days. The 19 Kids and Counting star, 23, shared a pregnancy update on her family’s official Facebook page on Sunday, Jan. 4, revealing that she is 28 weeks and 4 days along — and may give birth sooner than we think. “Sweet picture of our Jill and her little one! At this point in gestation, there is now a 90% chance that he could survive outside the womb. Life is beautiful. We can't wait to meet this boy!” the caption read.
Typically mothers hope to give birth around 39 weeks or later. Children born before that time are more likely to have developmental issues or health problems.
While Jill and her husband Derick Dillard prepare to welcome their first child, they’re also stocking up and saving. On Jan. 4, Dillard Instagrammed a picture of the couple holding up a plethora of bananas.
“@jillmdillard got a really good deal on some bananas! ($0.10/ lb) Gonna be great for the little monkey growing inside of her #frozenbananas #savemoneylivebetter,” he captioned the picture.
