It’s a Christmas miracle! Joanna Gaines shared a photo of her 6-month-old son, Crew, meeting Santa Claus for the first time — and he did not shed a single tear.
“All my dreams have come true,” Gaines captioned a series of Instagram pictures on Saturday, December 22. In one snap, the infant is actually seen gazing adoringly into Santa’s eyes.
Joanna and her husband, fellow Fixer Upper alum Chip Gaines, are also parents of Drake, 13, Ella, 12, Duke, 10, and Emmie Kay, 8. The family will be opening presents at their Waco, Texas, farmhouse on Tuesday.
The couple, who have been married 15 years, will whip up familiar foods for their loved ones. “All I want is to gather the same ingredients for the same beloved cinnamon rolls that I’ve baked on Christmas morning for as long as I can remember,” Joanna wrote in the new Magnolia Journal.
This holiday is especially meaningful for the Magnolia Table cookbook author and Chip. “We get to experience our family through [Crew’s] delighted smiles, with his bright eyes serving as a sort of mirror,” she explained in the magazine. “I hope he’ll see that we’re to looking for new and improved, but rather that we’re taking the best parts of every Christmas past and unpacking them for Christmas present.”
Joanna and Chip starred on HGTV’s Fixer Upper from 2013 to 2018. In November, the pair announced they are partnering with Discovery to launch their own network. They are also focusing on business endeavors including Magnolia Market, which they opened in 2003.
