From one generation to another! John Legend‘s baby daughter, Luna Simone, met his grandmother — her great-grandmother — on Thursday, May 26, and Legend got the sweet encounter on camera.
The “All of Me” singer, 37, shared a picture of the meeting on Instagram. In it, his grandmother gazes up at the camera with a smile while cradling little Luna, 1 month, who looks up at her curiously.
“Granny came from Ohio to meet Luna today,” the Oscar-winning songwriter captioned the post.
Legend and his wife, model Chrissy Teigen, have shared several pictures of their bundle of joy since her April 14 birth. The very first photo was of Teigen holding her newborn as their dog sat nearby, watching. “Hi my lulu!” she wrote alongside the post.
On Thursday, the 2014 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover girl shared a video of Luna bopping around to her dad’s song “The Beginning,” which includes lyrics such as “Plans to do it ’til we have a baby / Even if the world is crazy.” Teigen captioned the clip simply, “The beginning!”
