Her first Mother’s Day! John Legend wrote a sweet tribute to his wife, Chrissy Teigen, on Instagram in honor of the special day on Sunday, May 8.
The “All of Me” singer, 37, shared three photos of the new mom, 30, and their daughter, Luna, who was born on April 14.
“Happy Mother’s Day!!” he simply captioned a pic of Teigen snuggling up with the infant in a blanket.
In the second shot, Luna is pictured wearing an adorable white onesie that reads “Happy 1st Mother’s Day!” with a red heart on it.
“To my wonderful wife, @chrissyteigen. Luna and I are so lucky to have you in our lives,” Legend wrote. “If our daughter can be even half as awesome as you, I will be so happy and proud. Happy 1st Mother’s Day!”
He later posted a picture of his “favorite mama” making brunch in a midriff-baring white top that showed off her amazingly flat tummy just three weeks after giving birth.
Last month, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model joked about how she’ll use her Twitter account now that she’s a mom.
“Thank you for all the well wishes!!!” she told her followers shortly after welcoming her baby girl into the world. “We are so happy and excited! i dunno what to tweet now. does my twitter change? this is so awkward.”
