She’s got that new mom glow! Jordin Sparks might be still adjusting to motherhood, but it appears she’s already mastered the mom-and-son selfie.
The 28-year-old American Idol alum took to Instagram on Friday, May 18, to share an up-close look of a sweet cuddle session with her baby boy.
“My new normal. I love it,” the au naturel mom captioned the pic of herself with son, DJ, who she shares with husband Dana Isaiah, 25. “Look at that face! He’s gotten so big already!”
Followers were quick to share their heartfelt comments with the “No Air” singer. “He’s soo super comfy and content. Love it,” one commenter wrote. Another added: “Being a Mum is the most precious gift. Congratulations to you both. He looks like the perfect bundle.”
As previously reported, the couple — who secretly wed in July 2017 — welcomed their first child on May 2. Three days later, Sparks stunned at the Show Dogs premiere where she revealed her post-baby body.
Entertainment Tonight‘s Kevin Frazier documented the outing and praising the strong mom in a photo from the event.
“Wait @jordinsparks had a baby two days ago and rolled up on the red carpet this morning looking like a #Superstar,” he captioned the pic. “She told me she had the baby Wednesday afternoon, and four hours later was out of the birthing center and home. Congrats to Jordin and her husband Dana … Dana Jr was 8 pounds and is happy and healthy.”
Prior to her relationship with Isaiah, Sparks briefly dated Sage the Gemini; the two called it quits in February 2016 after dating for less than a year. She had a high-profile relationship with singer Jason Derulo that ultimately ended in September 2014, after about three years together.
