Pure love. In a new video clip posted by Kate Hudson, her boyfriend, Danny Fujikawa, couldn’t look more in love with his new daughter, Rani.
The Marshall actress, 39, shared the heart-melting clip on Instagram on Friday, October 12. “Kind, beautiful man, your pure love is such a gift,” she wrote.
In the home movie, Fujikawa, 32, is seen caressing the couple’s 1-week-old baby girl as the gentle notes of “Not Alone” by Patty Griffin play in the background. The little one responds with plenty of arm movements as her dad gazes down lovingly at her and kisses her head twice, pausing at one point to smile at the camera.
The musician isn’t the only one entranced with the couple’s new arrival: As a source told Us Weekly, the Sister star’s other children, Ryder, 14, whom she shares with ex-husband Chris Robinson, and Bingham, 7, whom she shares with ex-fiancé and Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy, “are obsessed with Rani.”
The twosome welcomed their daughter on October 2. “She’s here,” the Oscar nominee wrote on Instagram two days later. “We have decided to name our daughter Rani (pronounced Ronnie) after her grandfather, Ron Fujikawa. Ron was the most special man who we all miss dearly. To name her after him is an honor. Everyone is doing well and happy as can be. Our family thanks you for all the love and blessings that have been sent our way and we send ours right back.”
Hudson also shared Rani’s first photo on Instagram on Saturday, October, 6. “Our little rosebud,” she captioned an adorable photo of their newborn.
