Nicole is a Chicago-based editor and writer with more than 10 years of experience in the field. Nicole has come a long way since her days of churning out articles for her alma mater’s online magazine (RIP, The Big Green), most recently taking on roles as an editor, writer and sometimes reporter for Us Weekly in 2018. She has interviewed everyone from Jennie Garth and Mila Kunis to O.J. Simpson prosecutor Marcia Clark and regularly writes about the lives of the rich and the famous for Us. Plus, in a life-defining moment, Kate Beckinsale once featured Nicole’s work on her Instagram page.

 

Nicole also knows her way around a photo shoot, having styled numerous fashion spreads in her day (including one for the Joffrey Ballet). Social media, website and video creation are also in her wheelhouse. What’s more, Nicole is somewhat of a shopping expert, both personally and professionally — thanks to nearly four years spent as a content editor at a digital deals site, she can easily point you in the direction of the least expensive KitchenAid mixer on the market in a jiff.

Nicole graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism.

Work history

Prior to working at Us, Nicole was a contributing editor for Brit + Co, where she regularly covered beats in fashion, beauty, lifestyle and entertainment. She has also served as the Managing Editor for Chicago Collection magazine and has bylines for multiple national outlets, including BRIDES, Refinery 29, MTV and Travel + Leisure (to name a few). She also has an extensive background in affiliate marketing, having spent nearly four years as a content editor at Brad’s Deals.
