Kate Beckinsale

Kate Beckinsale was born July 26, 1973, in London, England, and came from a show business background. The Widow actress’ father, the late Richard Beckinsale, was a well-known television actor and her mom, Judy Loe, also graced the big and small screens as an actress. Though her dad died at the young age of 31 in 1979, her mom went on to remarry TV director Roy Battersby, whom Beckinsale remains very close to.

Beckinsale attended Oxford University, where she studied French and Russian literature for three years. She got her first big acting break in 1991’s Much Ado About Nothing.

Since then, Beckinsale has starred in several feature films, including Underworld, The Aviator and Van Helsing. The bombshell has also been on FHM‘s 100 Sexiest Women in the World as well as Maxim‘s Hot 100.

Beckinsale has had a handful of high-profile relationships. She shares a daughter, Lily Mo Sheen, born in January 1999, with ex-boyfriend Michael Sheen and went on to marry director Len Wiseman, from whom she split in November 2015 after 11 years of marriage.

Flash forward four years, and Beckinsale would once again make headlines for her love life when she was first linked to Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson in January 2019. The pair would go on to have a brief, but PDA-packed, romance, which ended after four months.
