Robert Pattinson

Robert Pattinson is an English actor who took America by storm after being cast as lead heartthrob vampire Edward Cullen in the 2008 film adaptation of the best-selling book, Twilight.

Born in London in May 13, 1986, Pattinson got involved in amateur theatre through the Barnes Theatre Company. After appearing in several amateur plays, he scored small supporting roles in television films before earning the coveted role of Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire in 2007. His role in the wildly popular Twilight film, along with the additional four movies in The Twilight Saga (2008-2012) that followed, made him a household name.

Pattinson went on to star in other popular films including Remember Me (2010) and Water for Elephants (2011), as well as in several film festival hits.

The actor dated Twilight costar Kristen Stewart on and off from 2008 until 2014, splitting up after Stewart had an affair. Pattinson began dating singer-dancer FKA twigs in 2014, and the two became engaged in April 2015.
