Kate Beckinsale doesn’t shy away from unconventional workout looks.
Beckinsale, 53, took to Instagram on Wednesday, August 5, to show off her yoga skills in massive sky-high boots. In the new pics, the actress balanced on one leg with her arms stretched in front of her, doing a Warrior 3 pose. She wore black leather platform boots featuring a thick, chunky heel, and buckles that strapped up to her knee. She completed her look with a white romper featuring a ruffled hem on her shorts and spaghetti straps.
Beckinsale wore a black scrunchie in her blonde hair, which she made even more secure with a headband. She also rocked black shades.
The Serendipity star made her yoga move even more challenging by balancing her Pomeranian dog, named Myf, on her back.
Elsewhere in her social media dump, Beckinsale got back into the same position, but this time, with her Persian cat Willow, whom she dyed pink, on her back.
“Yoga yoga yoga,” she captioned the post. Beckinsale’s fans were quick to applaud her in the comments section.
“I’m in awe of your balancing skills 🧘🏻♀️🙏🏼❤️,” one wrote, while another added, “This is awesome! 😍❤️🔥🙌.” A third playfully commented, “Of course you have a pink cat! Why wouldn’t you.”
In a since-deleted post, Beckinsale defended dying Willow pink, claiming that it helped with her pet’s “depression.”
“Willow – who had been quite depressed since Clive died – really perked up after we tried it on her – very odd but the same thing happened years and years ago when we gave Clive a lion cut after his best friend our cat went missing and never came back,” she explained at the time, noting that she used a “very gentle non-toxic dye specifically for animals that causes no harm.”
Beckinsale previously wore her platform boots earlier this month while relaxing at home. She laid on her rug while surrounded by pink confetti. Above her was a sign that read, “Big Leo Energy.” Beckinsale wore a low-rise skirt featuring blue-and-white pinstripes and floral details. She paired the piece with a button-up blouse complete with short, puffy sleeves and pockets finished with bows.
For glam, Beckinsale donned a full beat including filled-in eyebrows, long lashes, sparkly pink eyeshadow and nude lips. Her highlighted hair was parted down the middle and styled in a voluminous ponytail with her ends curled.
