Four months after swapping vows with Kelsey Grammer, Kayte Walsh says she's eager to start a family — and fast.
"[We] can't wait," Walsh, 29, told Us Weekly at Sunday's Tony Awards of becoming a parent with her new actor hubby, 56.
Watching her husband parent his two kids with Camille Grammer, says Walsh, is a good indicator of how he'll be with their own children.
"He's such a good father. I've never known a man like him," Walsh says of Grammer, dad to daughter Mason and son Jude. "He's just so full of love and he's wonderful. You couldn't ask for more."
As for his kids with Camille, Grammer says they're holding up well as their mom and dad publicly hash out a custody agreement.
In a veiled dig at his ex-wife — who bemoaned her marriage on the last season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills — Grammer insists he has his kids' best interests at heart.
"I made a conscious decision that I wouldn't be at least playing on my personal life in front of the cameras — that's just disrespectful, I think, for the whole situation, [and] for Kayte as well," he told reporters. "It's very hard at this point. But I'm not going to say much about that. I'm going to do my best to make sure my kids are always OK."
