Since learning she was expecting her first child, Kendra Duggar couldn’t have been more excited. So much so, that she and her husband Joseph are even talking more children.
“We would love to have more kids if the Lord blesses us,” she exclusively tells Us Weekly. “As many as He wants to give us, we’ll be happy to take them.”
But while they are looking forward to the future, the Counting On stars are currently focused on prepping as they await the birth of their baby boy — due on Father’s Day!

“Joe has definitely been super attentive to my needs,” she says of her beau. “He knows exactly when I’m not feeling well and will be right there like, ‘What can I get you?’ or ‘What do you need?’” Additionally, she says that his sisters have also been helping out by passing down old maternity clothes: “They have been such a huge blessing.”
The happily married couple — who tied the knot in September 2017 — have also turned to Joe’s older sisters Jill Dillard (who shares sons Israel, 2, and Samuel, 8-months, with husband Derick) and Jessa Seewald (who shares sons Spurgeon, 2, and Henry, 13-months, with husband Ben) for guidance in raising a son. “I think by just watching them, I’ve been able to pick up different things on how they keep them happy or entertained,” Kendra says.

Her sister-in-law Joy-Anna also has a baby boy. She and husband Austin Forsyth welcomed Gideon last month, and Joe has been able to hold their new nephew. “It was just really sweet just to see him interacting with the newborn,” she gushes. “It seemed very natural for him, so I think he’s definitely going to be great.”
