Parents of newborns know the drill: Your baby wakes up to eat at 2 a.m. — and then refuses to go back to sleep. It was something Khloé Kardashian understood all too well until she learned of a simple hack.

“Words I never thought I’d say: A red light bulb has changed my life,” the mom of 10-week-old daughter, True, began in a recent blog post titled “My Middle of the Night Miracle.” The reality star, 33, explained that red-based light — unlike white or blue light — “doesn’t inhibit the body’s secretion of melatonin, the hormone that helps you sleep.” So after True has her milk, she dozes off quickly. And that makes for a happy mama!

The Revenge Body host recommends the smartphone controlled Lucero Smart Bulb that can be set to more than 16 million colors. “Who doesn’t love a little mood lighting, right?” Kardashian quipped. “It’s perfect for parties, relaxing, and Netflix and chilling, LOL. You can even schedule a specific color to go on just as you’re waking up so you can ease into the morning with a soothing light.”

Kardashian, boyfriend Tristan Thompson, and their little girl are back in Calabasas, California, following a tumultuous two months in Ohio. Just days before she gave birth, videos and photos surfaced of the Cleveland Cavaliers player, 27, getting close with other other women during her pregnancy. But Kardashian is standing by her man.

Trainer Don Brooks, who has been working with the couple, revealed to Us Weekly that they “feed off the energy of each other” in the gym.

“Him being a professional athlete champion, he performs at a higher level He pushed her to reach that level,” Brooks told Us. “So really it’s having me go easier on my job, because he’s in there pushing her, so I can demonstrate the exercises and let them support each other.”
