When you’re expecting a little one there is zero pressure to accept party invitations. No one will be mad if you cancel plans and it’s one of the best parts of pregnancy — just ask Khloé Kardashian.
“I miss being pregnant for a few reasons,” the 34-year-old tweeted on Monday, September 24. “But I really miss being pregnant because I used to have an excuse to be antisocial and go to bed early and not feel any type of way.”
Kardashian’s musing received hundreds of comments from other moms who feel the same way. “The baby is the best excuse! Also a great excuse for leaving early,” wrote one fan. Added another: “Same here and having an excuse to eat weird things and not have to explain anything.”
The Revenge Body host and her boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, welcomed their now 5-month-old daughter, True, on April 12. Despite a longing to stay home in her PJs, the first-time mom enjoyed a date night with her Cleveland Cavaliers player love and sister Kourtney Kardashian on Saturday.
“Third wheel life,” Kourtney, 39, captioned an Instagram Story video that showed Khloé and Thompson, 27, acting lovey-dovey.
Khloé is squeezing in quality time with her family before she leaves Los Angeles and moves back to Cleveland, where the athlete’s team is based. Preseason games begin next month.
The couple has worked hard to get their relationship back on track. Thompson was caught cheating on the Strong Looks Better Naked author in April with multiple women. But Kardashian stood by the Thompson’s side. “Khloé and Tristan are doing better than anyone could have expected,” a source told Us Weekly. “Tristan has promised Khloé he will never betray her again. She believes him.”
