Khloé Kardashian feathered her daughter True’s nursery with flamingo-print wallpaper. In a Monday, June 18, post on her blog, the 33-year-old revealed the pink design was the first decorating choice she made while pregnant.
“I love how elegant the flamingo is,” wrote Kardashian. The reality star, who shares 9-week-old True with boyfriend Tristan Thompson, noted that she was drawn to the pink bird because it’s “creative” and “not so traditional.”
And as it turns out, Kardashian picked the perfect animal for her bundle of joy. “True has the longest, skinniest legs like a flamingo!” revealed the Good American denim cofounder. “It’s so funny how we feel our children’s personalities before we even meet them. Maybe True picked the wallpaper in my tummy.”
Last month, Kardashian gave fans a peek of True’s nursery that features a $1,525 Hermes throw blanket and a $4,500 Nursery Works lucite Vetro crib. (Sister Kim Kardashian uses the same one for baby Chicago!) “I trust the products she loves,” the Strong Looks Better Naked author shared at the time. “She was my angel during my pregnancy and has been so helpful and encouraging. We’re similar moms and have been two peas in a pod lately.”
Khloé and Thompson, 27, welcomed True on April 12. The family had been living in Ohio where the Cleveland Cavaliers player is based with his team, but they’ve recently moved back to her native California. Kylie Jenner surprised the new mom with pink and white balloons that read: “Welcome home Khloe and True.” She was also treated to welcome home cookies emblazoned with True’s face. “I have never seen cuter cookies in all my life,” gushed the Revenge Body host in a Sunday, June 17, Instagram Story. “Oh my God.”
