Getting personal via podcast. Kim Kardashian discussed everything from Thanksgiving plans to date nights with husband Kanye West on the newest episode of Andrew Leon Talley’s Vogue podcast on Monday, Nov. 9.
“I actually don’t love Thanksgiving food,” the reality star, 35, told Talley on the podcast. “I don’t love it at all. I love the tradition and I love hanging out with the family, but I don’t really love the food so I never get tempted really. But around Christmastime I love the sweets and all of that.” The soon-to-be mom of two also noted that she and the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan will likely spend Thanksgiving day at mom Kris Jenner’s home.
And speaking of the holidays, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star — who is currently eight months pregnant with her and West’s second child — joked that she’d most likely be spending Christmas in the hospital.
“I eat more carbs than usual but I don’t crave anything in particular,” the soon-to-be mom of two said. “And I’m due right around Christmas, so I might be in the hospital on Christmas, I don’t know!”
Kardashian didn’t just discuss how her second pregnancy has affected her food choices — it’s also influenced her fashion decisions.
“I’m to the point now where my feet are slightly starting to swell,” she revealed. “Today I’m wearing heels and they’re fine. I think in spurts they’re OK at this stage. I have a whole closet set aside for my daughter [North West] of all of my clothes! Hopefully one day she’ll want to wear something of mine.”
The Vogue contributing editor, 66, concluded the episode by asking Kardashian about date nights with the rapper-turned-fashion designer, 38.
“He likes to surprise me so I never know what it is!” she gushed. “He’s not the type to really, you know, just chill. He always has something very sweet [for me].”
