Kim Kardashian and her baby bump are ready for business! The mom-to-be, 32, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Kanye West in July, stepped out in L.A. on Tuesday, Feb. 5 dressed up in classy blue suit while heading to an office building. The navy suit coat, pants and baggy tie blouse covered up her growing baby bump.
Kardashian styled the business attire the same day new court documents were filed by her estranged husband Kris Humphries. In the new file, the NBA star's attorney claims Kardashians' surprise pregnancy with West, 35, puts an unfair bias on her ongoing court case with Humphries, 28.
"What is really going on here is that an 'urgency' in the form of an apparently unplanned pregnancy, something [Humphries] had nothing to do with, is perceived by [Kim] as an opportunity to gain a litigation advantage by trying to force this court to prematurely set this matter for trial," the documents state, according to TMZ.
Since Kardashian filed for divorce from Humphries after 72 days of marriage on Oct. 31, 2011, the two have been battling in legal proceedings to end their marriages. Humphries is asking for an annulment based on claims that Kardashian defrauded him, while Kardashian is asking for a divorce.
During an interview on the TODAY show in January, Kardashian defended her pregnancy with West, despite still being legally married to Humphries.
"It's been a year-and-a-half since I filed, so I definitely waited six months before I started a relationship," the Kourtney and Kim Take Miami star explained. "I think God puts things in front of you, and places things in your life, for a reason."
But she does hope her baby won't be born while she's still married to Humphries. "I'm really hopeful, and I'm just hoping to get through it sooner than later," she said. "It's a process."
