Born on February 6, 1985, Kris Humphries is a professional basketball player who was famously engaged and briefly married to reality star Kim Kardashian.
The 6’9″ New Jersey Nets forward began his NBA career in 2004 when he was drafted by the Utah Jazz as the 14th pick. After two seasons, he was traded to the Raptors in exchange for Rafael Araujo.
In July 2009, Humphries, Shawn Marion and Nathan Jawai were traded to the Dallas Mavericks. By January 2011, he was one of the Nets’ most valuable players, scoring a career high of 25 points against the Los Angeles Clippers.
