Baby's first art lesson? Kim Kardashian gave her 6-month-old daughter, North, a little taste of the art scene in Miami when she took her adorable little girl to the Delano, near the world-famous Art Basel show on Thursday, Dec. 5 — where Nori rubbed elbows with artist Jeff Koons, a true art world superstar.
The 33-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star shared a picture of the culturally rich outing via Instagram. "Art lessons!" she captioned the shot, which shows Nori safely strapped into her stroller seat and posing with Koons. See more adorable pics of Nori and other celebrity babies.
(Koons is famous for his pop-art reproductions of ordinary objects; his "Balloon Dog (Orange)" sculpture sold for a record $58.4 million at Christie's New York auction house in November, and he recently collaborated with Lady Gaga to create her ARTPOP album cover. He debuted his much-buzzed-about painted BMW at opening night of Art Basel on Dec. 4.)
Incidentally, Kardashian has been in the news this week for her alleged connection to another pop art icon. According to the New York Post's Page Six, the reality star's fiance, art lover Kanye West, commissioned Andy Warhol's cousin, Monica Warhol, to paint a portrait of his future wife, whom he has called "the most beautiful woman of all time."
"Our love story's a love story for the ages," West raved recently of Kardashian. "I felt like when we first got together, it was like a Romeo and Juliet kind of thing."
