Kim Kardashian Thanks Cheryl Cole for Defending Her Pregnancy Curves

Kim Kardashian has an ally in British pop star Cheryl Cole. After being hounded by weight bullies since announcing her pregnancy in December, the 32-year-old reality star received a supportive WhoSay message from the Girls Aloud singer on Thursday, May 16.

"Hi Gorgeous lady!" Cole, 29, wrote. "Just wanted to send you a tweet to say I think you are an incredibly beautiful woman inside and out. I can only imagine how tough it is to be heavily pregnant and feeling extremely vulnerable on top of some of the daily criticism you take! I admire your tenacity and send you my best wishes with the rest of your pregnancy."

Kardashian, 32, thanked the "Fight for This Love" singer via Twitter that same day. "Your message really touched me! Thank you so much for the support and positivity!" Kanye West's girlfriend wrote. "It's so important for women to feel confident and at peace during this amazing time! Your sweet tweet really made me smile!"

Since announcing her pregnancy in December, Kardashian has been hounded by weight bullies. When she wore a black-and-white dress in March, she was famously compared to killer whale Shamu in an internet meme. One tabloid headline claimed she had been "Dumped at 200 Pounds!" The irony, however, is that the 5-foot-2 reality star never stopped working out.

"Kim is working hard but listening to her body," her L.A.- and New York-based trainer Tracy Anderson tells Us Weekly in its May 20 issue. "We focus mostly on her arms and legs, training one hour four times a week, depending on how she feels."

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star sticks to a light resistance program to avoid putting on more bulk. Says Anderson, "She's not doing as much cardio and she's constantly changing the workout so that the variety keeps her toned all over."
