Kristen Bell Shared a Photo of Her Living Room and It’s So Relatable

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard live in a $4.3 million estate around the corner from Angelina Jolie in L.A. But news flash: Their living room looks just like yours.

“This is a picture of both the floor of my house and the interior of my brain,” wrote The Good Place actress in a recent Instagram post. “#momlife.”

“Can I just say: I’m so glad I’m not the only one whose kids leave all dolls naked any chance they get? And the chaos!” wrote one of Bell’s followers. Added another person: “This is me today!! I just finished picking up all 85 million ‘sergeants’ (army men) and hiding them in the garage so that I am guaranteed to not see them again for a little while.”

Bell, who currently stars in A Bad Moms Christmas, has learned to accept the mess that comes with having young kids. “You can’t beat yourself up because your house doesn’t look like a Pinterest board,” the 37-year-old revealed to The Independent in October. But she admitted she still struggles with negative voices in her head.

“I talk myself down all the time. I feel pressure to be perfect on a daily basis, and sometimes you’re doing great and other times you’re not,” she told The Independent. “There’s been moments where I have dropped my kids off at school, truthfully, wearing two different Birkenstocks because I got ready too fast or I’ve not worn a bra. But I chose to find comedy in that and not shame myself.”
