Kristen Bell’s daughters Lincoln, 5, and Delta, 3, are taking a vacation from baths.
The Good Place actress, who is on a camping trip in Glamis, California, shared a snap of her and Dax Shepard’s kids playing on Tuesday, October 30. “Caked with sand on every inch,” 38-year-old Bell captioned her Instagram picture. “Unshowered for 5 days and loving that sand dune life.”
The Bad Moms star and Parenthood alum, 43, are big on taking family road trips. It’s a tradition that began after the couple finished filming the 2010 movie When in Rome, and rode a motorcycle from New York to Detroit.
Bell revealed on a January episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! that Shepard is not what one would call a light packer. “We went camping together over the summer with our families,” she explained. “Dax brought a full-sized bouncy house, one you’d rent or see at a carnival.”
But in the end, the bouncy house really delivered. “Did my husband find the only toy where you can actually leave your kids unattended and get a break?” Bell declared. “It’s the lazy parents’ choice, because you’re really like, ‘Go bounce! Sweet!’ And then like, nighttime mask, and we’re out.”
In July, Shepard told Us Weekly that Lincoln is super outdoorsy and they take regular hikes together. “I’ll go with Lincoln and we’ll just jog on the way down,” he raved. “And I’ll look at her and go, ‘Oh my God, where did this freak of nature come from?’”
The pair began dating in 2007 and tied the knot in October 2013 when gay marriage was legalized in the state of California.
