When it comes to pregnancy, the second time’s the charm for Liv Tyler. The Leftovers star, 37, is currently expecting a younger sibling for son Milo, 9, and seems to be enjoying the experience thoroughly — if her cover story interview with Town & Country is any indication.
“It’s fun not being on a diet or thinking, ‘Oh my god, I have to go to SoulCycle every day,'” the second-time mom-to-be told the mag of the perks of pregnancy.
The “most fun thing,” though? “Having those mom hormones flowing around,” Tyler said. “You’re more present in your body, and it’s making me a better mother for Milo.”
Milo was born to the actress and ex-husband Royston Langdon back in December 2004. Tyler’s rep confirmed to Us Weekly in September that she’s expecting a second child, this time with beau Dave Gardner. Between that, her professional success on The Leftovers, and her new home in Hudson, New York, Tyler has never been happier.
“I mean, for seven years I’d been saying I wanted to do an HBO show with an ensemble cast. And I wanted a house in the country. And getting to have another child? If you knew me well, they were the things my heart longed for,” she shared. “And they all came together, like a speeding freight train, in one year.”
