Happy mommy. Lucy Liu gushed about being a mom to her newborn son, Rockwell, on the Tuesday, Nov. 3, episode of the Today show.
“Every day is just a miracle and a dream,” the actress, 46, said. “Because everything is so different every day. You’re not even thinking about ‘Is it Monday or Tuesday’ or ‘What time is it?’ anymore, you’re just thinking about how he’s changed from minute to minute and his reactions — also, how you are and how you grow as a human being, being around another human being like that.”
When asked whether she would start calling her son “Rocky” for short, she quipped, “I hope not!”
The Elementary actress welcomed her baby boy via surrogate, and announced his arrival in August on Instagram. “Introducing the new little man in my life, my son Rockwell Lloyd Liu,” she captioned a snap. “In love!”
The notoriously private Charlie’s Angel actress — who has been previously linked to Noam Gottesman and Zach Helm — shared another adorable Instagram pic of her newborn on Monday, Nov. 2, the first close-up photo of him.
“Mood #Rockwell,” the loving mom captioned the snap of her little one smiling at the camera.
