Meghan Markle is already passing down her love of cooking and creating to her daughter, Princess Lilibet, and there’s video to prove it.
“What do you think, Lili?” Meghan, 45, asks her daughter, 5, while standing in front of a pot of bubbling raspberry jam in a home video shared via Instagram on Tuesday, October 6.
The camera then pans over to Lili, who has a wooden spoon and a sampler of the jam to try in her own big bowl.
“I think it’s beautiful, mom,” the young princess says, referring to her mom’s latest creation.
In the clip — part of video montage documenting Meghan’s career milestones leading up to the founding of her lifestyle brand As Ever — fans can see a glimpse of Lili’s red hair as she stands beside her mother.
Lili is wearing a pink shirt with dogs on it while serving as Meghan’s taste tester.
Prince Harry and Meghan’s youngest child is also seen briefly during another part of the video, watching on as the Suits alum tends to her bee hive in preparation for making honey at home. (The couple, who tied the knot in 2018, also share a son, Prince Archie, 7.)
“You see, Lili,” Meghan asks as she turns around in her bee suit and holds onto a slab from the hive full of bees. Lili is far away dressed in her own protective suit watching near a tree.

The rest of the video pays homage to Meghan’s entrepreneurial journey, including the canning process for her jam, her handwritten notes for the brand and the unveiling of her first-ever Christmas hampers for the 2026 season.
“When I was about eight years old I started my own business making handmade scrunchies I sewed on my grandmother’s Singer sewing machine and sold for $1 a piece,” Meghan recalled in the Instagram caption. “I sold Girl Scout cookies, had lemonade stands, worked in a frozen yogurt shop and had countless other jobs. My entrepreneurial spirit was always there.”
The Duchess of Sussex explained, “As I shared years ago on The Tig (PS, love you ladies @thetiglets): ‘Behind every successful woman is herself’ — and that’s true,” referring to one of the inspirational quotes on her former blog.
Meghan, who launched As Ever in 2025 after originally naming the brand American Riviera Orchard one year prior, noted that there is “more” to success than one’s self, pointing out that she has “a community of love, a squad of support, an amazing team.”
“As I pinch myself looking at how this brand has grown, and as we introduce our holiday collection, I feel very proud, and grateful,” she continued, marking the release of the brand’s Christmas collection, including an advent calendar, a hostess basket with As Ever’s signature fruit spread and flower sprinkles and more.
Meghan concluded by giving “a huge thanks” to her team, writing, “So proud of what we are creating together. Thanks for helping bring this vision to life ❤️.”
Meghan’s sweet shout-out to her brand’s evolution featuring daughter Lili comes just a few months after the family moved from California to the U.K. over the summer.
Meghan and Harry, 42, had been living in the U.S. since 2020, following their decision to step down from their royal duties. Us confirmed in August that the couple planned to return to England ahead of the school year.
In early September, Meghan shared a glimpse at their new life in the country via social media and she was later spotted with pal Ellen DeGeneres in the Cotswolds.
Meghan and Harry, meanwhile, were photographed on a casual afternoon date on October 1, marking their first sighting as a couple since the relocation.
