North West Plays Violin, Dances While Vacationing in Mexico With Mom Kim Kardashian

Next stop, Carnegie Hall? Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's 3-year-old daughter, North, showed off her budding musical talent on vacation with her mom in Mexico on Friday, August 19.

Kardashian, 35, hosted a belated birthday dinner for her pal Hrush Achemyan on Friday at Casa Aramara in Punta Mita. As part of the celebration, she invited a mariachi band to perform.

North was quite taken with the band, and ended up getting on the dance floor to show off her moves. Naturally, her reality star mom caught the whole thing on Snapchat. In one clip, the little girl — rocking some printed pajamas and sparkly fairy wings — can be seen running back and forth in front of the musicians, waving her arms up and down.

"She had to get up and dance," Kardashian says in the video. "Doesn't take after me!"

North even got some dancing lessons from her mom's pal Stephanie Sheppard. "Stephanie is teaching her some moves," Kardashian says in another clip. "She was a professional dancer, you guys."

At one point, the band stopped to let North try her hand at an instrument. In yet another snap, she can be seen (and heard!) drawing the bow across the strings of a violin while one of the musicians holds it steady. "Your violin lessons are paying off," Kardashian tells her.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star and her kids have been vacationing in Mexico for several days. Earlier in the week, the Kimoji creator played with North and son Saint, 8 months, on the beach, showing off her slimmed-down frame in a nude bikini.
