“She’s flying private jets for baby girl to be with her,” Offset told Us Weekly exclusively of his wife on Saturday, December 1, at the Variety Hitmakers Brunch in Los Angeles. “She’s paying a lot of money, but it’s all love for Kulture. And that’s who she do everything for first and I respect it. She’s a new mom. A lot of new moms don’t know what to do. She’s learning fast. We’re growing together and it’s the best thing.”
The 26-year-old, who is part of the rap trio Migos, is proud of how far Cardi, 26, has come as a mother to their now-4-month-old. “It’s so beautiful because she’s worked so hard,” he gushed. “I was there when she wasn’t feeling like herself — she just wasn’t there yet.”
At the moment, Offset and the “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker are enjoying some quiet family time. (He is on a short break from his Aubrey and the Three Migos tour.) “I’m just chilling. So I just be with her,” the Georgia native told Us. “I’ll fly to her or she’ll fly to me. Because we need the time. You know what I’m saying?”
Come December 25, the pair will be surrounded by loved ones, including Offset’s three other children from previous relationships. “It’s going to be a family-oriented thing,” he revealed. “We all get along. We are all good. So it’s going to be a big Christmas.”
This will be Offset and Cardi’s second Christmas as husband and wife. They secretly tied the knot in September 2017.
“I’m proud of getting married,” he told Us on Saturday. “That’s a big thing in my life.”
