One sleepy mama-to-be! Christina Anstead looked flawless in a makeup-free selfie posted to her Instagram account on Wednesday, May 8, however, she revealed she didn’t feel so great.
“Swipe right for this amazing before and after @pinkdustcosmetics transformation 😜… but in all seriousness I’ve been feeling crabby and tired this week,” the HGTV star, 35, captioned two photos — one of her au-natural and another with a face full of cosmetics. “Grateful for my bestie for putting me together for work and our morning b** sessions that only besties would understand.”
Anstead received an outpour of support in the comments section of the post, with many followers praising her for sharing a sans makeup selfie.
“I love that you shared this! It’s nice to see the ‘real’ people behind the shows and I think it’s so helpful on social media to know that nobody looks made-up and tv ready 100% of the time,” one commenter wrote. Another added: “Beautiful both ways!! Natural and with pretty makeup! 💗 So glad you posted this!”
Anstead — who tied the knot with husband Ant Anstead at their California home in December 2018 — announced her pregnancy in a sweet Instagram post in March.
“@ant_anstead and I are so excited to announce #babyanstead coming this September,” the Flip or Flop star wrote alongside a picture that showed her and the Wheeler Dealers host, 40, hugging while Christina showed off a sonogram pic. “The kids are all so excited to meet their new sibling #5 #Gonnaneedabiggercar.”
Christina’s ex husband, Tarek El Moussa, whom she remains on good terms with, accidentally revealed the gender of Christina and Ant’s baby while speaking to TMZ in April. “She’s remarried, she’s actually pregnant — everybody knows that,” El Moussa, 37, told the outlet. “She’s having a son.”
Christina and El Moussa — who were married from 2009 to 2018 — share daughter, Taylor, 8, and son Brayden, 3.
