Real Housewives of Atlanta fans won’t be surprised to learn that pregnant Shamea Morton went all out for her gender reveal party. The Bravo series regular, who is expecting her first child with husband Gerald Mwangi, lit up the sky with pink fireworks at their Georgia home on Saturday, July 21.

Though Shamea just wanted a healthy child, she had her fingers crossed for a girl. “I hope she’s a mini-me. I do girls really well,” the 36-year-old told Us Weekly exclusively. “I was more terrified of a boy. I’m all for the tutus and bows.”

And Gerald is just as excited about having a daughter. “He already calls her his princess,” she gushed. “He’s overjoyed.”

Castmates Kandi Burruss, Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams were among the 300 guests at the celebration that fell one day before Shamea and Gerald’s one-year wedding anniversary. (The TV personality and Gerald tied the knot in Nairobi, Kenya, after a threeyear courtship.)

“We showed our 45minute wedding video and the entire house was quiet,” the former Atlanta Falcons cheerleader told Us. “There were even a few tears shed when we played our vows.”

Along with the fireworks display, revelers enjoyed a feast that included cupcakes, pulled pork, corn on the cob and rotisserie chicken. Shamea raved to Us that the entire night was “a dream.”

Shamea broke her pregnancy news exclusively to Us Weekly in May. She will welcome her little girl around Thanksgiving.
