Cynthia Bailey

Cynthia Bailey is a model, reality television personality and actress best known for appearing on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Born and raised in Alabama, Bailey moved to New York City at age 18 to pursue modeling. At the time, she signed with Wilhelmina Models and went on to work both on the runway and in editorial ads.

Turning to acting, Bailey starred in 1990’s Without You I’m Nothing alongside Sandra Bernhard. She went on to make appearances on The Cosby Show and in 1993’s For Love or Money, along with a handful of music videos. Bailey has also been a guest judge for the Miss Universe pageant.

In 2010, the Sharknado: The 4th Awakens star joined the cast of RHOA, then in its third season. She has remained on the series ever since, with season 14 of the Bravo reality show confirmed in October 2021. Months later, Bailey was announced as a contestant on season 3 of Celebrity Big Brother, set to premiere in February 2022.

Bailey married Peter Thomas in 2010, releasing a book about their relationship titled Carry-On Baggage: Our Nonstop Flight in 2013. Three years later, the pair separated. Their divorce was finalized in 2017.

The actress went on to wed Mike Hill in October 2020 after two years of dating. Their wedding was featured on RHOA. They announced their split in October 2022.
