"Beckett is adorable," the 47-year-old actor told Us at the Hollywood Reporter pre-Emmys party on Thursday, Sept. 19. "I saw pictures and I'm really excited for her." He added: "I'm so happy for her. We've been very much involved with each other, in each other's lives."

Rhimes, 43, shared the happy news via Twitter on Wednesday, Sept. 18. "Been AWOL from Twitter. I totally have a good reason: TINY HUMAN #3 is here and she's perfect!" she explained of her absence. "Babies are good. Life is good. #2shows3kids." No other details were immediately revealed.

The TV producer is already a mother to two daughters. She adopted Harper in June 2002 and Emerson in February 2012. She exclusively confirmed to Us in April 2012 about adopting Emerson. "I've been writing adoption into story lines on my shows and only a few people close to me knew about my plans," the mom told Us at the time. "I think the response was 'oh my goodness' from a lot of people."

Though she's got her hands full, Rhimes will top off the happy news this week with one exciting event — the Emmys! "Very excited to see @kerrywashington on the red carpet this weekend! Loving that @danbucatinsky will be there as well to celebrate his win!" she tweeted Friday.

"And by 'see on the red carpet' I mean watch from home in my spit-up stained pajamas while holding babies," she quipped.
