The first-time dad announced that he and the Irish model, 32, became parents at 3:55 a.m. “He is beautiful and healthy,” wrote Matthews on Instagram. “We feel truly blessed.” In the snap, the Made in Chelsea star, 30, clutches his newborn’s hand.

Williams shared a photo of the baby’s tiny feet.

Middleton, 34, and her hedge fund manager husband James Matthews, 43, will be bringing their own bundle of joy home from the hospital in the coming weeks. When Spencer appeared on U.K. show This Morning in August, he revealed that the sex of the couple’s child will be a surprise.

Boy or girl, the TV personality is certain the cousins will be best pals. “It will be great for the kids to grow up together as such,” Spencer said at the time. “We feel very blessed.”

Middleton and the former professional race car driver tied the knot in May 2017 after five years of dating. The author of home entertaining book Celebrate confirmed her pregnancy in June in a guest column for Waitrose magazine. In the piece, Duchess Kate’s sister opened up about her first trimester and how she tweaked her exercise regime.

“I’m fanatical about sport and have looked at loads of books and websites on exercise during pregnancy but have been disappointed by the limited technical information on what you can and can’t do,” Middleton revealed.

Meanwhile, Middleton’s sister-in-law opened up about being shamed for working out while pregnant. (Williams posted Instagram videos of herself training.)

“People were constantly saying, ‘You’re putting your baby at risk, you shouldn’t be doing things like that,” Williams told This Morning in June. “Everything I do is okayed by my doctor and okayed by my trainers. People just seem to have such an issue with women training when they are pregnant. To be honest, it’s anything you do when you’re pregnant. If you put up a picture and there’s a can of Coke in the background, you get a comment saying, ‘You shouldn’t be drinking coke when you’re pregnant.”
