Baby makes five! Teen Mom 3’s Mackenzie Douthit McKee welcomed her third child with husband Josh McKee on Monday, August 14. The reality star gave birth to a boy named Broncs Weston, her rep confirms to Us Weekly.
The 16 & Pregnant alum, 21, and her bull-riding hubby are also parents of son Gannon, 4, and daughter Jaxie, 2. Mackenzie announced that she was pregnant again back in April.
She opened up about her excitement over becoming a third-time mother in an August 9 Instagram post.
“Momma is getting impatient. I'm so ready to hold baby boy and so blessed with friends and family, at my 35 week appointment he was measuring over 10 pounds,” the Miami, Oklahoma, native wrote alongside a photo of herself showing off her baby bump in a tight white T-shirt. “🙈 my body truly amazes me.”
Mackenzie, who suffers from type 1 diabetes, considered carrying her new bundle of joy to be a miracle because her condition posed a threat to her first two pregnancies.
“This is the last month we will be a Family of four and God has truly blessed us with healthy kids when the doctors once told me my body could never carry one,” she wrote in an emotional Instagram post on July 19. “Although baby number 3 was a huge risk and my body could never carry another, we made it to the end with lots of fear and prayers. 🙌🏼.”
Mackenzie and Josh tied the knot in a beautiful country-themed wedding in August 2013. “Josh was whispering in my ear how much he loved me,” the bride told Us after walking down the aisle. “It was the best moment. It was like, ‘We’re here, we did it.'”
